Ambient-electronic scenes followed by long minimal-techno variations close to Mille-Plateaux productions. In its mid-tempo mode, Andy Diey's album echoes Foreign Terrain, one of his more film-oriented projects (cf. "LP1" on SoleilMoon).

Being based in Manchester, Andy Diey has been close to Muslimgauze for a long time. Hence, the strong Middle-Eastern atmosphere at the beginning of the tracklisting. With Rapoon (ex Zoviet France), he's presently preparing a remix and re-editing project as a tribute to Bryn Jones.

Andy Diey is also a dub follower as some "breakbeat & bass" tracks assess it. He performs bass-music under the name of Black Faction and signed in particular an album ("Internal Dissident") released by SoleilMoon; a premonitory title ("Afghan Front V2.1") on "Docking Sequence" compilation, released by BSI Rec. (also featuring: Dub Creator, Jah Warrior, Sound Secretion, Alpha & Omega, Twilight Circus, Raz Mesinai, DJ Spooky), and a remix ("Exodus") for The Rootsman.

Andy Diey had also released for labels such as Skam and Plug Research. He also performs live when his job as a sound engineer allows him free time. There are a few bootlegs from a mix in Vienna, and from a performance at "Nesh", a party, organised by the prestigious label, Warp… First album realeased by HTz label, after "Dub This Net" and "Drum-n-Tunez" compilations, this reference is the forerunner of a series co-ordinated by "Wreck This Mess"…
